Dr. Robert Twaddell has been helping people to lead healthier, more energetic lives, since 1996. He receives rave reviews, and is especially thankful for the numerous referrals they receive from satisfied patients and our local Fayetteville health professionals as well. Dr. Robert developed A Healthy Back for the communities and families of Cumberland County. The stresses of work and everyday life have an extremely deleterious effect on the body. The Doctor is dedicated to helping teach patients how to cope better with these stresses, and also towards living a healthier lifestyle. In order to achieve this goal, A Healthy Back utilizes the most beneficial and up-to-date chiropractic techniques. These techniques are both manual (and traditional), and computerized (non manual or low force). At AHB you will also find cold laser and acupuncture for pain management, along with various other physio-therapeutic techniques. Dr. Robert attended Springfield College which he received his B.S. in Sports Biology and National College of Chiropractic in which he received a B.S. in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degrees. National College of Chiropractic is one of the most challenging scientific based colleges in the world. Prior to Chiropractic College Dr. Robert worked in emergency medicine as an Emergency Medical Technician and an Athletic Trainer. In 2019, Dr. Robert Twaddell earned his Masters of Science, Advanced Clinical Practice (MSACP), the only chiropractic physician in NC who has earned this degree. In 2013, Dr. Robb became the first National Registered DOT Medical Examiner in Cumberland County and began doing a new clinic Fayetteville DOT Exams and Testing, and later became Fayetteville Occ Med. Not only does he certify DOT Medical Exams, but he also performs Drug & Alcohol Testing and Compliance, Respirator FIT Testing, Lift Assessments, and More. Besides family and my practice, I volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and Community Concerts of Fayetteville. He has been team physician with many Fayetteville teams.
