I am an industry professional with over 35 years of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) experience. My career began working at a fixed site Private Automatic Branch Exchange switching center and has progressed to my current position as a systems/network engineer in a complex and dynamic environment. I have performed at the highest levels supporting all echelons of military operations including operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. My experience and knowledge covers a vast area of expertise to include network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting; systems administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. I am certified in a variety of disciplines including Cisco routers, switches and access control system; Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including certifications in Windows 10 Professional, Windows XP Professional, and Windows Server 2008; I am extremely proficient and knowledgeable in additional Windows Operating Systems and applications including Windows Hyper-V 2012. I also have a working knowledge of Linux Red Hat Enterprise operating system. I am VMware VCP4 certified and am very proficient and knowledgeable of VMware and ESXi 4 and 5 and VMware Client Infrastructure 4 and 5 applications. Additionally, I have experience working with NetAPP storage array systems. I retired from the military as a Senior NCO / branch superintendent and have been chosen as a site lead in Iraq, as well as Regional Command – East and PM DCGS-A Help Desk lead technician in Afghanistan. In addition to my vast experience in both systems and leadership roles, I am always very eager to learn new skills and take it as a challenge to be the subject matter expert and mentor.
