As a Business Marketing CTE Teacher at Tiegerman High School, I am committed to providing high-quality education to high school students with learning disabilities, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the retail and marketing industries. I hold a New York State Career and Technical Education Certification in Business Marketing and have developed comprehensive, hands-on curricula that emphasize real-world applications and educational technology. With over 11 years of experience in education, I am also CPR and CPI certified, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for my students. In addition to teaching, I am the Founder and Owner of a small candle business, where I combine my passion for marketing and crafting to create high-quality soy candles. Through my business, I actively engage in community outreach, leveraging my platform to make a meaningful social impact. I have spearheaded initiatives that support mentorship, mental health, and leadership development, raising awareness and funds for these vital causes. As the Coordinator of Student Activities at Tiegerman, I also design and lead social and recreational events that enhance student engagement and well-being. My contributions to the school and community have been recognized with multiple awards, reflecting my dedication, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact.
