I started my account management and business development journey because building successful relationships with clients is what I’m best at. Through my ability to relate to, listen and communicate well with clients, I’ve been able to deliver tangible results that move the needle in regards to revenue. I began honing this skill whilst working for a printing company facing closure due to a recession. I put on my suit and tie and found that I had a natural knack for sales securing contracts and developing strong long term profitable relationships as well as saving the business. I developed a marketing prowess as I communicated effectively with marketing personnel understanding their briefs and delivering the desired results. This lead to a successful career path as a Marketing Manager for a retail jewellery chain, then onto a role has a Marketing consultant selling and compiling content for websites. I then took a detour to exercise my philanthropist urge to give back to the community by using my business development skills engaging employers to provide employment with persons with Disabilities.
