About Robert Wake

What does it mean to be a leader? That is the question that has motivated me in the past and will continue to do the same into the future. I have shaped my education and experience around growing as an effective leader and manager in the world of business in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. With over 15 years experience in management and roles of leadership, I have gained a rich portfolio of accomplishment including- Currently a Service Manager for Cintas Corporation responsible for the development of 13 Service Sales Representatives and Service Supervisor. Also responsible for managing customer accounts totaling more than $9 Million in Sales Annually-Production Manager for Cintas Corporation, a $7 Billion+ company in the services industry. Managed over 70 partners and established entirely new leadership team in the production department- Sales Manager leading and managing 10 sales specialists and all specialty departments with sales of over $20 million as well as performing MOD responsibilities for a Big Box Retailer-Managed a chain retail store for LifeWay Christian Stores during which time I hired, trained, and grew a dynamic core leadership team -Moved up quickly from factory worker to credit manager for a cabinet manufacturer with over $150 million in sales-Established new and improved credit procedures that stabilized credit accounts in the midst of the 2008 recession. These procedures are still effectively used today. I have also gained a rich portfolio through my education-Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.90 GPA from Southeast Missouri State University Harrison College of Business-Graduated with a 4.0 GPA in the MBA program at Emporia State University-Member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society -Member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society-Member of Student Government as a Freshman Senator. My goal is to empower businesses through effectively applying my strengths in leadership and management. I want to take organizations from good to great through passionate leadership and management.
