Robert Walsh is a four-time graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in accounting, MBA in taxation and MA and PhD in economics. Currently he is an associate professor at the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. He has over 30 years of experience as an professor and academic administrator at universities in Texas, Indiana, New York and Florida. He has presented over 60 research papers at regional, national and international conferences and published and over 40 journal articles including those found in Accounting History, Accounting Historians Journal, Global Perspectives on Accounting Education and Accounting and Taxation. Prior to entering academia, he was on the audit staff of Deloitte and in the tax department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He maintains an active CPA license in the state of Texas and was on the Accounting Educators Liaison Board and the Tax Policy Committee for the Texas Society of CPAs.
