About Robert Wesley

A results-oriented and performance-driven logistics professional with unique leadership characteristics and several years of extensive experience in logistics management, operations management, project coordination, and transversal logistics in a humanitarian setting, having led logistics teams in frontline medical projects in Ukraine and successfully supported a Covid 19 mass vaccination project in Uganda. Currently, I am a Logistics Manager at ALIMA (The Alliance for International Medical Action), where I am responsible for project management, budget management, technical supervision, procurement and supply chain management, warehousing and inventory management, international procurement, negotiations, team management, and conflict tracking/analysis. Additionally, I have a proven track record in establishing operational excellence, implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and executing logistics strategies for high-turnover organizations. Throughout my career, I have always been commended for achieving consistent excellence in all of the roles I have worked in. I have been a high achiever and a performance-driven leader with a collaborative approach to developing useful operational strategies. My academic highlights: I have completed a master’s degree in EU Law from the University of Groningen. I have also completed a bachelor’s degree in Politics Science and EU Studies from Anglo-American University. My Technical Skill-stack: I have extensive knowledge of workspace management technologies such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, amongst several other tools. My goal and skillset: I am an exceptional team leader and always work in a high-performance mode. Whenever possible, I look for opportunities to immerse myself in a challenging environment where I could use my leadership, operations coordination, and logistics management skills and experience to drive organizational goals. Furthermore, having lived in Ukraine, Uganda, Czechia Nigeria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. has given me the ability to adapt to new environments and unforeseen circumstances and to work within different cultures.
