Maintenance professional with a lifetime of experience in leading individuals to successfully realize the goals of the organizations we served. Applying a foundation from the Aviation discipline of "learn from an expert, demonstrate competency and then sign off as owner of outcome" I have positively contributed to a number of successful projects and operations in the Upstream Oil and Gas sectors. Progressive levels of responsibility in both equipment reliability and development of technical teams validate the confidence of organizations I have served in my ability to understand goals, develop the processes and the people necessary for the job at hand. My commitment to incident free operations and experience in leading Incident Investigations is one of my greatest assets."Today Plus One." has been my personal way of communicating that actions taken in next three seconds (.) will determine whether a job step results in no incident or a life changing incident. That's the amount of time typically elapsed from "all is good to too late to change the outcome". Recognizing change is the most difficult skill to develop in our results oriented industry. Reliability of equipment depends on skilled individuals performing only the tasks required. Intrusive inspections and failure to apply proactive, predictive technologies and practices continues to plague or industry. My efforts and experience will serve to support the best today's systems allow. Proper commissioning and systems integration testing is the best way to assure that once deployed equipment reaches the expected service life.
