I am a passionate results-driven individual with a background in sales, business development, management and strategic planning within Financial Services. I have contributed significantly in building profile, sales and profitability in a number of different organisations throughout my career. I am a dynamic leader and motivator using both analytical and inter-personal skills. I have a talent for building consensus across multi-disciplined teams, whilst facilitating significant change. I am a skilled presenter who influences and wins investment mandates, increasing both RFP success (+30%) and ‘Beauty Parade’ wins (+20%). I was Head of Business Development for Charities & Not For Profit at both Rathbones (Maternity Cover - 1 year contract) & previously at Charles Stanley where I was responsible for building relationships with Charity membership organisations, lawyers, accountants and investment consultants. At Charles Stanley I was also responsible for building the necessary infrastructure (Charity team, charity rate card, charity publications, ESG capability, a trustee training programme of seminars and round-tables) to both support existing clients & help attract potential new charity clients. Throughout my career I have not only demonstrated an ability to identify some of the best investment opportunities in a number of different markets, but also built and developed numerous new client franchises. I have built up a substantial network of financial contacts across many specialist fields both in London, UK & overseas. I have broad international business experience covering the Middle East, Far East (Korea, Japan, Singapore & Hong Kong) as well as across Western Europe. I have worked for some of the top Global Investment Banks including Morgan Grenfell (Deutsche Bank), BZW (Barclays Capital), CSFB, Banque Paribas as well as the top Regional Nordic Investment Bank ABG Sundal Collier. Prior to working in the City, I was a trainee Accountant before then serving in the British Army.
