About Robert Wiskind

I have been a private practice pediatrician for more than 30 years with significant leadership responsibilities at the local, regional and national level. This involvement has included positions with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Georgia Chapter of the AAP, The Children’s Care Network, Kids Health First Pediatric Alliance and Peachtree Parks Pediatrics. My practice philosophy includes partnering with patients and their families to provide the education, quality care, and best practices available, which will promote the development and maintenance of health and safety in their children. As the managing partner of one of the oldest pediatric practices in the Atlanta community with seven pediatric board-certified physicians on staff, I have provided diagnosis and treatment for children from birth to age 21. I am experienced in measuring progress toward asthma management, attention deficit disorder, mental health, developmental milestones and obesity management through standardized measures and outcome data. A strong supporter and advocate of the American Academy of Pediatrics, I follow the AAP recommendations for the care of children, including the timing, importance, and efficacy of immunizations.
