About Robert Womack

Hi! I mixed my first live radio broadcast at the tender age of thirteen. That same year I took up guitar and became heavily involved in music performance. By college I was mixing for broadcast, for music concerts, and recording. After studying audio recording techniques and music composition at the University of Tennessee and building my own recording studio, I was hired away to my first career position as a recording engineer in 1981. I have worked for the last forty years as a Sound Designer, Audio Post Production Engineer for video and film, and Recording Engineer and Producer. I have produced and engineered CDs for label release, concerts for Dolby 5.1 surround DVD release, and soundtracks. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with a bunch of national recording artists. I have designed curricula for, and taught, courses in Audio Engineering and Editing. And finally, I've specialized in restoration and conservation of analog recordings. It has all added up to an extremely well-rounded career that allows me to bring strength and experience to your productions.
