About Roberta Catalinotto

Roberta has more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit management. During her career she has worked either as senior staff or consultant for more than 35 nonprofit organizations. She currently serves as Vice President for Development at Friends of the Urban Forest, a San Francisco-based environmental organization bringing the community together to plant and care for San Francisco's ideal urban forest. Before joining FUF, Roberta was Senior Vice President at a large global NGO, the Jewish Agency for Israel, where she directed the national Major Gifts team. Immediately prior to the Jewish Agency, she was Chief Development Officer at the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties. Roberta also served as Deputy Chief Development Officer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC, and as Director of Development at the Hirshhorn Museum, the contemporary art museum at the Smithsonian Institution. As a consultant, her roster of clients included nonprofits as diverse as environmental organizations, political and health advocacy groups, women’s organizations, museums and cultural institutions, and the Girl Scouts.
