Most of my education was while raising my children on a small budget, learning ways to stretch resources and take care of the needs of my family simultaneously. Of course, there is no "certificate" for that except seeing my children succeed and having good relationships with all seven, which I treasure. I earned my ATS in Business Information Technology, Medical Specialty, in 2003, worked up from news carrier to Operations Manager/Mailroom Supervisor at the local newspaper, then took a position as Music Director in 2008, and worked as a CNA for three years to explore my childhood dream of becoming a nurse.
