I have been in working in the real estate business since 1978, where I started as a receptionist for a large real estate company. I became the administrative manager for the real estate company in very short order. The broker of that real estate company purchased an escrow company, and I was made the administrative manager for the escrow company as well. I started helping the escrow officers, and found that being an escrow officer was my true calling. I learned all the ins and outs of the escrow business, and became an escrow officer in 1981. By 1986, in addition to being the office administrator, I became the escrow manager of the escrow company. I have been a part of many changes that have occurred in real estate over the past 40+ years. I can tell you stories about when interest rates were as high as 16% in the early 1980’s and “creative financing” was the only way to close a deal. Or about the “refi-mania” of the early 1990’s when homeowners were refinancing their mortgages for lower rates as often as every two to three months. Or when the real estate bubble of 2007/2008 burst and created the biggest short sale frenzy of all time. I have worked on refinances, short sales, private party finance transactions, land contracts, All Inclusive Trust Deeds, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, as well as residential, investment and commercial transactions of all shapes and sizes. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your transaction, and I am always willing to go that extra mile to make sure everything is done to ensure a smooth and successful close of your escrow.
