About Roberta Marforio

I'm part of Amazon Fresh/Prime Now team since launch and contributed to develop the business since then. In my current role, I'm responsible of the Vendor and Category Management team: I own P&L, plan and coordinate initiatives to reach revenue and profit targets across product categories. As part of my role, I drive a number of key strategic projects, connecting with relevant stakeholders across functions, countries and tenure, and analyzing benchmarks and internal data to determine success metrics for new projects. In addition to that, I collaborate with Finance team to build multi-year plans; I conduct financial analysis and forecasting, own monthly and quarterly budget vs actual reporting, and identify risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts. Lastly, I mentor the team for professional development. Prior to that, I worked as a Vendor Manager and Online Content Manager in the Consumer Electronics and Wireless department at Amazon. Here, I was in charge of developing and managing strategic relationships with third parties, negotiating vendors' contracts and marketing plans, and improving purchasing processes. Before joining Amazon, I worked at Vodafone Italy, covering a few roles thanks to a post-graduate program. During this journey, I developed my commercial skills in the role of Wholesale Roaming Negotiator, first in Italy and then in Luxembourg at Vodafone Group, expanding my responsibilities WW.
