About Roberta Ragona

I’m an illustrator with a soft spot for anthropology and a past in advertising. Born in Sardinia, living in Milan, working with clients from all around the world and missing the sea all the time. My name is Roberta Ragona but it’s way easier to find me as Tostoini. I draw colorful illustrations for magazines, books, picture books, advertising, but most of all for fun, and it works for every project from children books to websites and brand communication. I have an expertise in graphic recording, scribing, visual facilitation and sketch-noting; I’m available as a graphic recorder for events, talks, workshops. I like to reflect on how illustration and visual communication works and how people interact with them just as much as I like drawing: I write about printed communication from a visual standpoint for Print Lovers and I curated a series of interviews to Italian illustrators for Hoppipolla for more than a year. I have a keen interest in inclusive visual communication. I teach a module on illustration for multimedia contents at Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Genova.
