About Roberta Sutton

As Artist Outpost manager, I collaborate with talented teachers and students. I’m proud of the organizational growth we’ve built in the last year, doubling our outreach, classes, and profit. As grant writer for San Diego media arts educator/nonprofit, Outside the Lens, I employed strategic thinking when vetting grants replying to RFPs, and balancing our portfolio with local, state, national, family, and private grants. Worked closely with programing and finances to optimize our RFPs and our ability to deliver measurable, local impacts. As Associate Director at the Center for Public Scholarship at The New School, I managed international, quarterly conferences, grant writing, grant management, budget management, and academic activism. Earned an MS in Organizational Change Management at The New School, BA in Art History, and BA in Studio Art at Binghamton University.
