About Roberto Alessio

With over 25 years of experience in the Supply Chain 3PL industry, I am the Vice President of Business & Growth Eastern Europe at NewCold, a global leader in cold chain solutions. I have an Executive MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and a degree in Economy, Technology, and Innovation from the University of Rome Unitelma Sapienza. I have a strong background in operations management, logistics management, team building, and business development, focusing on automation, innovations, and digitalization. I am delivering high-quality and efficient services to our clients while ensuring sustainability and safety in our processes and facilities. I have successfully led the entry of NewCold into the Italian frozen logistics market and the achievements of three state-of-the-art logistics centres in Rieti, Frosinone, and Piacenza. I have also served as an interim site manager and a business development manager for NewCold in Southern Europe, overseeing the region's operations, sales, and customer relations. Previously, I was the general manager, the project development manager, and the technical director at Pacaro Logistics, where I managed the design, construction, and operation of several cold storage and distribution projects across Italy. I am motivated by the mission of NewCold to provide innovative and reliable solutions for the cold chain industry and to create value for our stakeholders and society.
