My Current Role & Focus ** Currently, I lead the Solution Engineering organization for EMEA South with focus on high-growth markets, including Central and Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, Adriatics, Central Asia, Israel and Africa.** My Career Journey ** Before the current role, I served as the Senior Director of Tableau Solution Engineering for EMEA South & Central. My journey at Salesforce began in 2021, building on a robust foundation of diverse experience. For almost seventeen years, I held various leadership roles at Microsoft, spanning Consulting, Marketing, Sales, Presales, and Evangelism. Some of my most notable achievements include leading the Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Azure organizations in Italy, and spearheading the Data, AI & Industry Solutions business across Europe. Earlier in my career, I spent five years at SAP as the CRM pre-sales lead, where I refined my skills in solution architecture and customer engagement. I began my professional journey at an Italian system integrator, gaining foundational experience with Oracle applications and CRM solutions.** Beyond My Professional Life ** Outside of work, I'm a dedicated father of four. I'm passionate about endurance sports, especially ultra-running in desert races, in the past often using these events to support charitable fundraising. I'm also a sailplane pilot and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. In my free time, I enjoy analog pursuits like reading, cooking, music, and trying to learn how to play the piano.
