About Roberto Corazzi

Born in Gubbio, my academic path was shaped by my passion for engineering, from high school in Perugia to a three-year degree in Mechanical/Management Engineering. Overcoming the challenges of a demanding curriculum, I maintained a balance between studies and sports activities, even contributing to children's initiatives at CONI sports centres. After obtaining my bachelor's degree, I enriched my education by gaining work experience at Martinelli S.r.l. The year 2021 marked the beginning of my Master's degree in Management Engineering at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza', where I deepened my core competences in logistics, production systems management, continuous improvement, smart technologies and lean production. From September 2023 to January 2024, I was in the Netherlands working on my Master’s thesis, which focused on lean production and the integration of smart technologies in industry. During this period, I developed a solid understanding of logistics, learned about production system dynamics, implemented continuous improvement strategies, and studied the practical applications of smart technologies in the industrial context. Currently, I am employed as an Operational/Tactical Buyer, where I apply my skills to enhance procurement processes and contribute to innovation and efficiency in the industry. Determined and focused on continuous improvement, I am ready to tackle new professional challenges and drive advancements in industrial practices.
