About Roberto de Paolis

Energy Advisory Services Engineer (Sustainability) in Technip Energies Italy SPA, working in services like Power to X, CCUS, Hydrogen, refining, gas processing, petrochemicals. My role consists in the development of studies such as Conceptual, Feasibility, Master Planning, Funding Application support, Technology Assessment and Integration, Refining Optimization, Chemical Processing optimization, Energy Efficiency, Carbon Assessment, all of them both from technical and economical perspective. I am a Master’s graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy & Environment at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. My experience includes being the Mechanical Technical Director and a member of the Aerodynamics team for the Formula Student “Scuderia Unicas.” Additionally, I completed a "Higher Education" program at Technip Energies, focusing on "energy mapping for an industrial district and circular energy management". Subsequently, I developed my master’s thesis titled “Technical, Economic, and Environmental Feasibility Study of a Methanation Plant via Green Hydrogen Production and CO2 Capture.” In addition to my engineering background, I have been a Soccer Referee for eleven years, currently officiating in the Serie D (4th National League). This experience has enhanced my decision-making abilities and teamwork skills.
