About Roberto Donna

My name is Roberto, and I have been dedicated to research and teaching at both the university and high school for the past 8 years. Research: I conducted research activities in Antarctica and later in southeastern Buenos Aires, specializing in paleoenvironmental reconstructions based on microfossils. Building on this expertise, I have actively participated in conferences and seminars, published scientific articles, received distinctions, and earned a Ph.D. from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. I have been involved in numerous research projects in the fields of soils and biomineralization, as well as university extension projects related to environmental education. In interdisciplinary collaborations, I contributed a geological perspective and utilized my graphic skills to enhance project outcomes. Teaching: At the university: I have specialized in assessment methods for effective learning. Currently, I serve as a teaching assistant for General Geology in the Biology program at the National University of Mar del Plata, a position I secured through a competitive selection process. Additionally, I hold the role of Head of Practical Work for Earth Sciences, Geomorphology, and Soils in the Environmental Engineering program at Universidad FASTA. At high school: Completing the Supplementary Pedagogical Training program at the Institute of Technical and Teaching Training No. 91 allowed me to work as a full-time professor at two institutions, teaching Earth Sciences, Environment, Development, Society, and Research Project. Throughout my teaching career, I have proposed various field trips and interdisciplinary projects. I am seeking new challenges where I can apply and expand my experience in research and teaching.
