About Roberto Leito
I am a passionate, dedicated law student and working professional, returning as a full-time associate with Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (US) LLP in Fall 2026. My practice interests lie in real estate and land use. Previously, I have worked as a legal summer associate at Morgan Stanley, as an MTA legal intern, and as a research assistant to adjunct election law professor Jerry Goldfeder. At Morgan Stanley, I completed practice rotations with Technology & Data Legal and the Global Conflicts Office. As an MTA legal intern, I redlined potential legislation, analyzed contract provisions, and produced memoranda advising in several areas of law. As a research assistant, I worked closely with Professor Goldfeder to compile collections of articles featuring his legal scholarship from the past fifty years. I explored different practice areas in these positions while honing my legal writing and research skills. I am an organizer, a leader, and a team player who wears many hats in the workplace and classroom.
