Dr. Maroncelli Roberto (O.M. RM n°:65764) is a professionist in the field of medicine. Having graduated in Medicine and Surgery from “La Sapienza University of Rome”, he has completed a residency in radiology at the same University. He has developed expertise in various areas of radiology, focusing his career on breast radiology. Throughout his professional journey, he has collaborated with renowned researchers of his institution and hospital, like Prof. Pediconi Federica, actively participating in research and international European projects concerning breast cancer like “BrastSCan”. His passion for breast imaging is reflected in his pursuit to stay updated on the latest breast radiological scenarios, actively participating in scientific work and Congress. Indeed, he has participated in numerous conferences and congresses like AIRMM congress (2021-2025), SIRM congress (2021-2025), EUSOBI congress(2023-2025), ECR (2023-2025) and RSNA congress (2023), presenting his studies and contributions to medical research. In 2023 he won the EUSOBI Young Physician-Scientist Grant with the research entitled “Performance of Node-RADS Scoring System for a Standardized Assessment of Regional Lymph Nodes in Breast Cancer Patients”. In 2024 he completed a fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Silvia Perez Rodrigo and he began his PhD program in Network Oncology and Precision Medicine at “La Sapienza University of Rome”, focusing on advanced breast imaging, artificial intelligence applications, and personalized oncological care.
