I've found a couple of analogies between my hobbies and how I work that can work. So prepare yourself for dying from metaphor indigestion: In football I like playing back in the middle, where the plays begin, you can distribute the game and have a complete view of the field, change positions as necessary, or shoot to goal when there is a chance. In music, I do not specialize. I switch between guitar and drums depending on the band. Improving with one instrument also makes me better with the rest. I hope someday to learn to sing, play the piano, and the trumpet. Sticking with music, I also love the process of making songs. Begin with a row idea and try that all of the band nourish it, enrich it, and feel it like their own. Then it's time to converge, analyze, order, and form a whole song, complete, fresh, and interesting. I am seeking a team (I work best when collaborating with others) where new and interesting solutions to social problems ( for mission-driven companies) could grow fast and easily.
