About Roberto Milan

My work experience has developed in: Compass, Banca Popolare di Novara and Intesa Sanpaolo. These steps allowed me to deal with different issues, thus gaining a good ability to adapt quickly to the new responsibilities I was in charge of. I developed good communication and mediation skills recovering outstanding debts without starting legal proceedings whereas dealing with the development of software applications refined my analytical skills as organizational analyst. Drafting operational manuals, newsletters, presentations and so on improved my communication skills on various topics. Software’s managing and testing phases required me also a strict and schematic approach to the day-by-day issues, allowing a more efficient management of the contingencies. My natural ease in interpersonal relations helped me to support the end-users and to teach during business training courses. I improved my management skills dealing with several external suppliers, keeping a tight control of the service levels too, whilst the management and the development of new procedures improved my ability to identify the best approach to follow. The management of the control related to the logical accesses to Intesa Sanpaolo’s IT systems improved my ability to work in highly complex and stressful situations. As Operational Risks Manager I have sharpened the ability to detect anomalous situations, arranging remediation plans and drafting the relevant reports. Audits on activities personally carried out or coordinated by myself always confirmed the correctness of my management, nonetheless forcing me to develop a mindset aimed at being always ahead of any possible remark. My experiences allow me to work alone or in a team but always being independent in making decisions and ready to adapt in case of hitches.
