About Roberto Parapetti

I have been working for 25 years in ABB. I started as sales engineer in a very specific business focused on Metals and Pulp and Paper. In the first 7 years I made a vertical carrier reaching the P&L responsibility of the local business unit. I led the unit for 5 years. Italian organization was responsible of also some allocated market in Middle East and Africa. I decided than to increase my competencies in instrumentation and analytical business and i took the role of Export sales manager for the Italian Organization for North Africa. I had the responsibility to develop new markets for all portfolio. This experience increased my competences in other Industry segments such as Oil and Gas, Power, Water and Waste Water, Cement. I moved than to the role of head of factory sales. The Italian product manufacturing unit is the center of excellence for Pressure Transmitters, therefore my responsibility was sales and marketing of pressure transmitters produced in Italy on global scale. Today I'm the global market manager for pressure. My global responsibility is now related to the pressure business sales and growth supporting sales from all factories we have world wide.
