About Roberto Rivera

As a Construction Management graduate with a business minor, it has allowed me the opportunity to work as well learn from different industries. I've worked in both residential and commercial construction in and around the Houston area as a construction manager. While achieving many goals as a construction manager this allowed me to take my career to the next level and work in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Contract Coordinator/Estimator. With a solid career foundation in my first few years out of college I was able to learn more on how to be a better professional in corporate environment. As I was developing the skills as a professional, I gained the knowledge of how to set up and achieve one of my long-term goals to build my own company and to help give back to those in need of jobs. With many short-term goals in mind, I also had another long-term goal that I wanted to achieve. As a huge sports and fitness enthusiast I always wanted to open my own gym to give back to the community that I grew up in and start a after school program for kids. This career move taught me a lot of about business in the real world not just in corporate America. I then moved on to open a landscaping company which also helped me gain a new perspective of business while allowing me to achieve one of my long-term goals of creating more jobs. My passion for business was now growing and it led me to becoming a COO in the international airport industry. I now have developed a strong dedication to details and customer service in operations as a supervisor. I am now well versed in many areas as a professional and ready for what the future brings in my career.
