I am a dynamic and innovative business operations leader with over 20 years of experience overseeing people, processes, and systems. I drive operational excellence across business facilities and lead continuous improvement activities to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) target goals. As a Lean Six Sigma thinker, I research and identify opportunities to improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce overhead costs. My proven history of creating and executing effective business operations strategies is underscored by the results I achieve consistently each year. I am very passionate about recruiting and building highly effective teams. I strive to maximize employee engagement and build a culture of trust and communication. I seek out and hire top performers to improve performance of business functions. I work closely with team members to provide coaching and training both individually and as a group to help every member achieve success and contribute to the overall team goals. Additionally, I am bilingual in both English and Spanish. ACCOMPLISHMENTS Some of my key accomplishments include the following: Managing up to 110 union employees and 9 salaried staff, including position training, career development, enforcing of policies, and applying discipline as needed. Implementing Lean and 5S at multiple facilities to drive improvements to operational efficiency. Leading facility-wide trainings in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Defect Reaction and Isolation to build knowledge and improve operations at all levels.
