About Roberto Squillaci

I'm a Civil Engineering advance student and a 3D Animator and Multimedia Artist with 10 years of work experience in modeling and design of major civil mining works. My passion for 3D modeling led me to create new ways of showing and interacting with civil designs, mixing Engineering with the Virtual 3D World. By the combination of 3D modelling and the knowledge in mining design I create a new department called New Technologies and Visualizations for Ausenco (a global company of consulting, engineering, project delivery and asset operations), in which I have developed render videos, images and apps of Virtual, Mixed (HoloLens) and Augmented Reality to achieve new and innovative ways to interact and present our work to the clients. From 2009 to 2018 I was Senior Designer and head of the Graphic Design and Production Area at Ausenco Argentina, as well as the Main Civil Works Designer. In 2018 I was transferred to the Ausenco Chile office, and since then I have become the new Virtualization Area Manager, in charge of a multi-disciplinary team of talented professionals. Also, my extensive knowledge in the use of software Autocad Civil3D allowed me to teach at universities in Argentina and to professionals.
