I explore new and innovative ideas in the field of geosciences, exploiting the techniques of image analysis, geomatics, and computer programming to automate repetitive and "time-consuming" operations. I help students in understanding various topics of geology and petrology of the metamorphic. As a researcher and tutor of geological subjects, I help students to- Understanding the geology base with simple and fast tools- Learning the use of laboratory instruments for data acquisition- Learn the use of specific data processing software- Use graphic software for the presentation of results. I bring the experience gained during many years of research both in Italy and abroad, working with research groups experts in the field of petrology. I have been involved in the development of over 15 scientific contributions, many of them published in high-impact journals (Chemical Geology, Microchemical Journal, etc).
