About Roberto Viti

I am an Italian architect with a master's degree in European Union Architecture from the Sapienza University of Rome (2013). I moved to Cork at the end of 2015, and I've been working for more than a year now with the Deady Gahan Architects firm. During my studies and following graduation, I worked with various professional architects accumulating work experience in design and the renovation of apartments and commercial properties. I also have field experience in architectural surveys and can boast transversal competency in sectors such as photovoltaic systems and rendering execution. Following on from this, I autonomously managed the entire project cycle for several projects, from the conception through to the construction phase. Due to this work experience, I became well acquainted with software such as AutoCAD, 3D modeling with SketchUp and Rhinoceros, creation of realistic renderings with C4D Vray, Photoshop and Revit. I have also developed a thorough knowledge of the quality and performance of building materials. Due to the reach of my different experiences, I have developed a high-level capacity for dealing with projects of many different scales, from building construction details to urban planning. I am especially fascinated by the concept of bio-climatic design which was introduced to me during the course of my studies. I am now passionately pursuing an opportunity that will deepen my knowledge in this field, as I believe it to be a prerequisite for the present and future of architecture.
