About Roberts Flaumanis

As the Platform chapter lead at Giraffe360, I am excited to leverage my 20+ years of experience in software engineering and development to lead teams in building state-of-the-art data centers and infrastructure, as well as optimizing backend processing systems. My role involves guiding a talented group of engineers as we create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that drive the core operations of Giraffe360. Before joining Giraffe360, I served as a Software Engineering Advisor at Nutrameg and CTO, where I contributed to the development of innovative and user-friendly products for the health and wellness industry. My career also includes extensive experience in roles such as CTO, IT Architect, Senior Software Architect, and Web Engineer, where I led and contributed to various IT projects across multiple domains in the public and private sectors. In addition to my industry work, I have a long-standing commitment to mentorship and skill development as a Web Technologies Expert with WorldSkills International. I train and mentor competitors for national and international contests and have served as Chief or Deputy Chief Expert at several EuroSkills competitions. I am always eager to learn new skills, embrace emerging technologies, and share my knowledge with others. My dedication to excellence has been recognized with multiple awards from the Prime Minister of Latvia and the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia, as well as certifications from WorldSkills and SkillsLatvia.
