About Robertson Brown

I have been working in the machine vision industry for over 5 years providing customers across many industry segments with custom machine vision solutions. At Vista Solutions, we work with our customers to design, build, and deploy machine vision solutions to improve automation performance, product quality, and monitor key process metrics. We utilize a large range of industry standard vision hardware and software packages from manufacturers such as Cognex, Keyence, Sick, Matrox, and more, as well as development of custom applications primarily with MVTec Halcon vision library and custom C# front-ends. My previous experience at ATS Automation as a machine vision designer intern was centered around the same types of problems as my current role, with machine vision solutions developed primarily on the ATS SmartVision platform. Competencies: Machine vision (2D and 3D), optical design, industrial networks and controls, MVTec Halcon, C#, technical writing.
