Hello! My name is Robin Alexander. I am pleased to meet you. Everlasting Curiosity Syndrome is my permanent condition. Lifelong learning is the way! Since childhood, I knew I was a teacher. It’s in my blood. I have worked in the education industry for a total of 20 blessed years, including classroom teaching, being an aide, substitute teacher, daycare teacher, and Sunday school teacher. During this time, I have gained a host of interpersonal, communication, and technological skills to meet the demands of an ever-evolving industry. My skills include teaching, motivating the learner, providing care, building rapport, legal educational document writing, editing, curriculum writing, maintaining confidentiality, creating multimedia digital content, maintenance of records, conducting meetings, recording the minutes of meetings, presentations, public speaking, serving the public, and the ability to work with individuals from all walks of life. To put it plainly: I love people! I offer exemplary communication skills in all modalities, reliability, organization, creativity, and attention to details. I have led learners to achieve scores on the rigorous state writing assessment which resulted in exceeding the state average performance level. Words person here! Writing, communication, grammar, spelling, composition, handwriting, literature, art… these are my natural skills. My interests are studying human nature to better understand people, yoga, holistic wellness, hiking, nature, psychology, theology, philosophy, upholding children and young people, and advocating for neurodiversity. My life’s mission is to reflect the love of Jesus Christ by helping others and making a difference while I am here on this Earth. As my students say: “Let’s go!”
