About Robin Beauclair

With over 20 years of experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities, I am an independent consultant offering expertise and guidance in Indigenous engagement, stakeholder relationship management, conflict resolution, communication, and program and project management. I aim to foster respectful and meaningful relationships, promote cultural awareness and inclusion, and support social and economic development for Indigenous peoples and partners. Before my Restorative Justice Coordinator position, I was a Native Inmate Liason officer at Thunder Bay Correctional Centre Women's Maximum Security Facility. Building relationships with the inmates while teaching and providing lessons and guidance regarding Anishinabe Culture and Ceremony. In my previous role as a manager at Chi Mino Ozhitoowin, I successfully negotiated and implemented agreements between six First Nations, as well as Site Engagement Associate with the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, ensuring information sharing, public engagement, and research dissemination. I also applied my Traditional Knowledge as an Anishinabekwe and my connection with Mother Earth, spirit, and natural medicine to conduct traditional Anishinaabe ceremonies and to inspire. confidence and respect for all involved parties. I am a natural leader, a top performer, and a lifelong learner who thrives as part of a dynamic, growth-oriented team.
