I’m currently a Senior Monitor for PID Systems, a security company focused on delivering cost effective solutions within the security industry and providing unrivalled customer service. Dedicated to continual technical product development to meet its customers’ changing needs and requirements. In this role I form part of the monitoring team, dedicated to outstanding customer service. Our main roles are the interpretation of alarm activations and videos to determine the level of escalation required. We liaise with local Police forces and site contacts in order to maintain a high level of security on sites across the U.K. and Ireland. Not only is the job exciting and fun to do but also very rewarding, knowing we are providing security and preventing crime. Before joining PID Systems, I was employed by Carphone Warehouse as a Sales Consultant / Customer Consultant. Through years of service and honing my customer service and sales skills, I was regularly looked on to train new members of staff and take responsibility for the store in the manager’s absence. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with new people. I always seek to be the best at what I do. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favourite part is being involved in the development of new systems and seeing my suggestions implemented. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.
