About Robin Davis

With more than three decades of experience in communications, I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful messages that inform, inspire, and engage diverse audiences. As the Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications for Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, I lead a team of professionals who manage all aspects of the Mayor's Office communications, from media relations and social media to speechwriting and press conferences. I also serve as the liaison to several city departments, ensuring alignment and consistency of the Mayor's vision and priorities across the city. In my current role, I leverage my editorial, management, crisis communications, and social networking skills to turn programs and initiatives into compelling stories that showcase the achievements, challenges, and opportunities of the city and its residents. I also draw on my previous experience as the Editorial Director at Kenyon College and decades as a features journalist to bring flare to projects. I enjoy collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including journalists, community leaders, city officials, and staff, to promote transparency, accountability, and connections in public service. I also serve on the Experience Columbus and Greater Columbus Arts Council boards to use my talents and love of Columbus to promote this city.
