Working for a fast expanding and highly rated medical devices company, we offer a full range of services from manufacture within the UK to fitting of independent living equipment. We can also offer full training packages for HSE compliance within any organisation. My role involves liaising with occupational therapists, NHS trusts, LEA's, charities and private individuals in assessing end users requirements for independent living. By choosing the right care package and independent living aids we are able to offer a client a better quality of life whilst maintaining as much independence as possible. We help clients take control of their life no matter how severe their individual needs may be. I specialise in the assessment of lifting aids such as ceiling track hoists (with full design of system, from a single room to multi-room and new build) gantry systems and portable hoists, mobile hoists and stand aids. A Major part of my working day involves designing, surveying and pricing of stairlifts both straight and curved. Using equipment from ThyssenKrupp, Handicare and Platinum stairlifts. I can offer full sling assessment to ensure that the client is moved in a comfortable, dignified and safe way. I can also assist in the full design of individual shower chairs which can be adapted for a specific requirement whilst offering toilet solutions such as compatibility with automatic toilets.
