About Robin G. Jackson

Recent Past: I am a current graduate of the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, with a Masters in Philanthropic Studies, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management through SPEA @ IUPUI. I was the Program Director for the Riverside Elementary Boys & Girls Club, and was recently a co-director with E.D.G.E. Kinetic Summer Camp and an After School Youth Worker-both positions with the John H. Boner Community Center, working with 6th-8th grade students. It is with the skills that I gained that I have become a thought leader and a vehicle for change in the nonprofit youth field.Distant Past: I graduated from IUPUI with a BA in Sociology, and minors in Africana Studies and Psychology. I was a student leader, being on the executive board of two different organizations (Student African American Sisterhood and Association for the Study of African American Life and History) with experience in personal relations where analytical and critical thinking were constantly utilized. I am interested in misrepresented youth advocacy in the education and empowerment arenas.Specialties: Researcher, communicator, author, editor, and organizer
