About Robin Gregson

Robin founded Primary Decisions after 16 years at PwC. He created the PwC modelling team in Melbourne in 2005 with John Studley after moving from the transaction team in the UK firm. He set up Primary Decisions in 2015 with the aim of allowing his clients to get Big 4 Director level experience on the keyboard working with them day-to-day. This is in contrast to the traditional "geared" team where experienced senior team member time is limited. Primary Decisions offers services in: Financial model build Financial model review Excel modelling training incl. VBA Strategy modelling "Small" analytics Robin is passionate about helping people make sense of information, but will often play across strategic, operational or finance projects. Previous experience at PwC: As the original member of a team of 25 I was focused on ensuring the team had the support to learn, grow, and achieve their goals in an inclusive and diverse environment. This general manager type focus means my role covered finance, governance/process/policy, training, performance management and technology/facilities. Originally "famous" for financial modelling I transitioned into a senior member of PwC’s Analytics services which is a globally connected business - with more than Analytics professionals around the world. The team helps drive information management, business intelligence, insight analytics and modelling in areas of customer, pricing, productivity and workforce to obtain a competitive advantage.
