About Robin Hamilton

I am a Senior Accountant on the Tax team at BDO Canada, with experience spanning corporate, trust, and personal tax returns, as well as reorganizations, tax planning strategies, daylight loan planning, and both internal and client-focused tax research. I am currently pursuing the In-Depth Tax Program, CPA Canada’s flagship certification for tax professionals, to further strengthen my technical expertise. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina, where I served as President and VP Finance of the Hill Business Development Club. During my time at university, I actively competed in national case competitions: I represented the University of Regina at the 2019 ICBC case competition in accounting at Queen’s University, and in 2020 as the sole debater. That same year, I was part of the accounting team that achieved 1st place at the Asper School of Business case competition. Beyond academics and professional work, I have dedicated time to giving back to my community through volunteering with the Canadian Cancer Society, the University of Regina’s Ambassador Program, Tim Hortons Foundation Camp, and Regina Cat Rescue.
