In addition, my full time job: For the past 7 years, I have been working in Information Systems within the Government of British Columbia. Through my varied experience within the Natural Resource Sector, the PSA and SDSI, I have had the opportunity to identify various opportunities for service improvement and to develop better processes and efficiencies across the organization while aligning with strategic priorities. In my current role as Team Lead, I am responsible for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining the web infrastructure for the Natural Resource Sector consistent with Government and Ministry Strategic plans and system standards. I evaluate and assess requirement to ensure web services are organized to maintain coherence, availability, quality and integrity to meet the web content needs of the Sector. I also have extensive experience and training in UX design. Creating usable websites for the end user is where my passion lies and where I find my natural instincts lean.
