About Robin Hu

I work at the intersection of geopolitics, global capital, and Asia’s strategic transformation. Over the past three decades, my work has spanned policy, markets, business, and institutions; from shaping international dialogues at the Milken Institute, to advising Temasek on sustainability and international policy, to board leadership roles across healthcare, real assets, and global platforms. I write and speak on U.S.–China relations, Taiwan, ASEAN, trade and supply-chain reconfiguration, and the investment consequences of geopolitical risk. My focus is not advocacy, but interpretation; translating policy shifts into implications for capital owners, business leaders, and decision-makers operating across Asia and beyond. My commentaries have been published by platforms including the South China Morning Post, Lianhe Zaobao, Nikkei Asia, Hinrich Foundation, MoneyControl, Caixin, and have been featured by the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. I frequently moderate and participate in closed-door and public dialogues with policymakers, investors, and global leaders across Asia, the United States, and Europe. I am particularly interested in how great-power competition, demographic change, technological autonomy, and capital flows are reshaping Asia’s long-term strategic and investment landscape.
