About Robin Joy

With over six years of dedicated industry experience in Western Canada and the UK, I bring a robust background in ecological consulting with a focus on wildlife biology and habitat assessment. Currently serving as an Intermediate Biologist at GHD, I excel in leading teams to conduct thorough wildlife surveys and habitat evaluations. My role also involves Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM), producing technical data reports, and developing wildlife habitat models to inform decision-making processes. Previously, as an Ecologist in the UK, I managed medium-scale projects, delivering expert guidance on ecological impact assessments, habitat management plans, and mitigation strategies tailored to meet regulatory requirements. My experience included conducting diverse surveys on taxa such as bats, herptiles, badgers, dormouse, otters, and butterflies, and providing actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders. My first Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, coupled with my proficiency in GIS, enables me to adeptly handle, analyze and interpret ecological data.
