About Robin Klimek

I am a research scientist with expertise in therapeutic oligonucleotides that can be used for various applications in biomedicine. Since January 2023, I have been working as a Scientist at BioSpring GmbH, a leading company in the production and development of synthetic nucleic acids. There I am responsible for the process development of antisense oligonucleotides, guide RNAs and siRNAs, which are used for gene modulation and therapy. I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, where I specialized in the development and characterization of light-activatable molecules for RNA biology and diagnostics. I have published several papers in renowned journals and have profound knowledge and skills in oligonucleotide synthesis, analysis and functionalization, RNA biology, fluorescence spectroscopy and transient absorption spectroscopy. My goal is to contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of oligonucleotide-based products and to find innovative solutions for the biomedical challenges of our time.
