About Robin Korevaar

I help people, programs, and communities connect and grow through transitions. My diverse background includes music performance, education and coaching (individuals and groups), non-profit development, and data-driven project and program management. I love to learn and bring strong collaboration, organization, and analytical skills to projects and programs. Equally at home on stage and behind the scenes, I have performed with the New Orleans, Colorado, Dallas, and Ft. Worth symphonies and supported the Dallas Chamber Symphony (DCS) and Camerata Winds in the roles of Development Director and President, respectively. I have worked in direct care with seniors and in counseling settings, and have managed teams in private and non-profit elder care programs. Outreach and advocacy are themes in my work. The National Endowment for the Arts Our Town music outreach project I facilitated for the City of Dallas and DCS (“Taking it to the Streets”) facilitated connections and understanding in homeless shelters, hospitals, juvenile justice programs, and public spaces. Opportunities to expand mentorship and advocacy work with the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, Teach to Learn, and Beyond Skin have been particularly meaningful in the past decade. Likewise, I have supported Dallas’ Hispanic community as a program manager for Catholic Charities, via online resource and wellness presentations, and through voter registration. I am honored to serve on the Dallas Chamber Music Society board and AARP Ride@50+ Leadership Circle and to have previously supported Dallas Area Agency on Aging via their advisory council.
