As the HR Director at Stratum, I lead a growing HR team supporting a rapidly expanding, people-first property management organization. What began as a one-person department has evolved into a strategic HR function, and I now oversee and mentor a two-person HR team as we continue to scale alongside the business. With more than 30 years of HR leadership experience, I specialize in building compliant, efficient, and employee-centered systems from the ground up.At Stratum, I direct all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and HRIS strategy, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, compensation structure, and policy development. I have designed and implemented the foundational HR infrastructure that supports our continued growth across Oregon, ensuring operational excellence while preserving a strong, values-driven culture.My leadership philosophy is grounded in a “do no harm” approach—balancing compliance and business objectives with fairness, transparency, and respect for every employee. I am deeply committed to creating systems that not only protect the organization but also empower employees to thrive, grow, and find purpose in their work.
