About Robin Matlhabane

Wits Masters Candidate in Applied Theatre and Education; community and social context. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama Therapy, as well as additional qualifications in Dramatic Arts. I have 6 years of experience in academia, research, and working with schools and non-profit organizations. I've worked as an academic facilitator, researcher, and head of pillar. I am a social servant who currently holds the position of pillar head, where I am responsible for young people's innovation. I am also an artist who has performed on stages such as the South African State Theatre and the National Arts Festival. I received an award for the best ethnographic research at the postgraduate level, at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and creative abilities. I am a goal-oriented and determined individual with a strong sense of self-efficacy and willingness to succeed. I always strive to be the best at what I do, and helping people has always been a passion of mine, which is reflected in my career choices. I have a strong passion to help others and have worked with organizations to help young people who are struggling with learning difficulties, mental health issues, and a lack of support. I am available for work as a researcher, facilitator, educator, or artist.
