Organized and detail oriented personal assistant with nearly 3 years experience, plus 10 years in the food service industry as cook/chef, and 10 years experience as a housekeeper. Dedicated and focused, able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks, and follow through to complete necessary daily production, in both private family and fast paced environments. Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team, whichever is more suited for the particular situation. Changed from successful food service career, to start own business as a personal assistant for families. My duties have included but aren’t limited to: Errands (post office, bank, dry cleaner, Home Depot, drug stores, Bed Bath & Beyond, jewelry repair & appraiser etc…), menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, party preparation, daily care of pets, housekeeping, organizing, laundry, ironing, cleaning of sidewalk & courtyard. Proved myself to be a completely stable & reliable person, which allowed family members to handle life’s events: Deaths of OOT family members & the estate handling, busy work & school schedules, weddings, parties & vacations. When parents were out of town on several extended leaves, was entrusted to care for their 4 story, art-filled brownstone, their son (in college with a full schedule) & numerous pets. Was commended by a parent for being 1 of the 2 most trustworthy household staff in 35 years, and was trusted completely. Have become indispensable to 3 families due to individualized care, ability to take initiative, attention to detail, and respecting each household’s culture. Due to the broad range of given responsibilities, have often thought of myself as a “hired mom”.
